Super cozy and convenient!

Loved staying at Laurie and Mark's place! Had a lot of thoughtful touches and amenities (including snacks). Felt quite modern, very clean, and spacious for the 2 of us. Location is also super convenient as advertised and only a few minutes walk to both downtown and the waterfront. Communication was also easy as hosts are very responsive. Highly recommended!

Exceeded expectations!

Lovely property that is very conveniently located close to Lake Champlain and Church Street. Great communication with owners. The instructions/guide book were clear and made our stay so much better. You won’t regret staying here!

Cozy and everything you need!

We were in town for our son‘s graduation and needed a place to crash for four people. The pullout couch was extremely comfortable. The apartment is cozy and comfortable.… Not huge, but it was perfect for what we needed. Downtown Burlington is just steps away. Would definitely stay here again.

I liked the location. There were problems with the air conditioner that I had trouble with lowering the temperature. The sheets on the bed were also strange. Like I said..loved the location

Quiet downtown Haven

The property is lovely and well maintained . We met the caretaker, living in the front part of the house and he was very helpful and pleasant. The apartment has very nice Furniture, lighting, and Kitchen. I will try to stay there again in the future. It's not a large apartment but it was very comfortable for me and my husband.

Cozy and Walkable

The apartment was cozy and exactly what we needed for a weekend away. Was a quick walk to Church Street and the waterfront. The host was fast to respond and friendly. Would love to stay again next time we visit Burlington!

Great spot

Great location! Clean and had everything we needed. Can walk everywhere downtown - to water, stores, restaurants, and bike path. Off street parking is a huge plus in Burlington. Convenient to ski mountains and local snowshoeing/ cross country ski center. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect small place for 2 people. Great location for walking and exploring around the area. Close to the lake, shops, restaurants and bars. Very nice owners who were easy to communicate with when needed.

Loved it!

We loved this little cottage! It’s cozy and perfectly located just a short walk from the waterfront and amazing walking/bike paths. Great restaurants and shops and even a food co-op are all close by. It was quiet, comfy and we slept well! The host was great and in contact throughout. Would def stay again!

Perfect base to explore Burlington and the surrounding area

This place was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with. Location is perfect for exploring Burlington (downtown, waterfront, and great bike rental place within easy walking distance) as well as the surrounding areas for hiking and other stuff. We would definitely stay here again.

Burlington first timers

We loved our stay in this cozy and peaceful listing. The accommodations were very comfortable and we had everything that we needed for a fun visit. It was in a great location, just blocks from the lake. There were great places to eat nearby and we didn’t need to drive anywhere. We really enjoyed walking around and exploring Burlington.

Great little place to stay very close to all the fun in Burlington. Clean and well cared for.

Check in and out was easy and the apartment had all the amenities we could have needed. Adorable place with a gas fireplace and screened porch to enjoy the sunshine in the day and be cozy in the evening.

Property is lovely, clean, and updated. Just as listed and perfect for a weekend away. So close to the main strip - it felt like we could easily access our "home" at any time.

We are "outdoors" people! Mark enjoys golf, Laurie likes to garden, run, practice and teach Pilates and is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Mark and Laurie regularly participate in a volunteer bible education work in the community. We are Real Estate investors, Vermont is our home base.

This property is a gem in the middle of the city. We purchased this property from a friend, and feel like we hit the jackpot! It is very hard to find great locations like this in Burlington-they never go on the market, people hang on to them. It is quiet, safe, and you can park your car and walk to everything. We live 5 minutes away in Burlington and can be available to assist when needed. Additionally, we have great tenants/caretakers in the front apt. for emergencies, or when we are away. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO HOST A PARTY, THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU. We are sorry if this sounds harsh, but we have had a couple of incidents, and need to be CLEAR on this. Thank You!

WE LOVE this location. Mark and Laurie personally renovated -with some help from contractors and friends ! This late 1800's home is rich in history and is in the Burlington Historical Registry. Originally a single family home, we converted it to a duplex in 2016. Careful attention to detail was important, with marble kitchen counters, heated kitchen and bathroom floors, hand crafted kitchen floor tiles and organic bed linens. The very high quality living room leather couch is very comfy, we spend many hours searching for something we would actually sleep on-NOTE: no cross bar!!! The covered porch is a great place to relax after a day out-take a nap, read a book, enjoy a glass of wine! We love this sweet apartment and know you will enjoy the surroundings, restaurants, boutique shopping on Church St, The beautiful Burlington Waterfront and Bike Path ( that will take you all the way to the rail trial in Colchester and a short bike ferry ride to the lovely Champlain Islands ) Breweries, Whiskey room, Night Life, bike path, lake front all just a few steps away. We are happy to share this Burlington GEM with you!
